Anti-ableism in the arts – Part 2: Time, rest and dialogue

ADVIES, Article, Interview Latest update: Credits: Flanders Arts Institute

Ableism refers to the discrimination, marginalisation and stigmatisation of people because of their disability or illness, which involves invisible barriers and deep-rooted prejudices. Working anti-validity can make these thresholds visible and eliminate them.

How do they navigate themselves within that field? What helps them do so? What really makes a difference?
