Flanders Arts Institute organised an open call for suggestions around un(der)exposed themes towards our Landscape Sketch, the following sessions will be given a place in the trajectory:

For the sector, the Landscape Sketch offers an opportunity to jointly explore themes and set an agenda. It is a call to the entire arts field to actively participate in the process. It also helps arts organisations to think about their positioning, especially with a view to operating subsidies.

For political policymakers, both at Flemish and local level, the Landscape Sketch serves as a basis for a strategic vision. It contains focal points for assessment committees to consider. Local landscape sketches can also relate to the Flemish Landscape Sketch.The analysis is prepared by Kunstenpunt, with input from VI.BE, the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAI), the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF), and Literature Flanders, in cooperation with the Flemish government’s Culture Department.
