(Re)framing the International: kick-off seminar on working internationally in the arts

In early December 2016, Kunstenpunt/Flanders Arts Institute together with approximately one hundred artists, curators, managers and other arts professionals kicked off this research and development trajectory on working internationally in the arts. This report is an account of the start-up phase of the process: brainstorming about burning issues, setting the agenda, getting some inspiration and, most importantly, discussing these fundamental questions: Why are we working internationally? What does it really mean to be working abroad?
