Metamorphoses. Performing arts in Flanders since 1993

Figures and opinions show how the performing-arts landscape has radically metamorphosed during the past decades. In 1993, the prototypical organisation was still a theatre company with a relatively permanent staff. Today there are more and more interdisciplinary production nuclei, which maintain casual relationships with freelance artists and co-producers at home and abroad.
