Field Guide

As part of our presence at Classical:NEXT 2024, we made a Field Guide of classical music in Flanders. Through this guide we offer you an overview of this music culture, and then continue about various themes.

This publication includes an essay by musicologist Lieselotte Bijnens on the underrepresentation of female composers in Flanders and Brussels, followed by an in-depth look at the history and current state of the sound arts in our region.
