Whispering Sons and Kapitan Korsakov selected for Tallinn Music Week
Whispering Sons
From 27 March until 2 April, the Tallinn Music Week takes place in Estonia. Tallinn Music Week is a showcase festival and music conference for an international audience of music professionals and aficionados. For the ninth edition, two bands from Flanders, Kapitan Korsakov and Whispering Sons, have been selected for the showcase programme.
Just as is the case for most big showcase festivals, Tallinn Music Week combines different concert platforms with a conference. The conference assembles key figures and change-makers from the music and creative industries. In addition, a number of lectures on research and development, entrepreneurship and politics are on the agenda.
The Whispering Son showcase is scheduled on Thursday 30 March, Kapitan Korsakov’s on Saturday 1 April. Flanders Arts Institute will be present under the colours of Belgium Booms in order to give them due support.
