Save the date: presentation Landscape Sketch of the Arts 2025

Flanders Arts Institute is publishing a Landscape Sketch of the Arts every five years. The document is a strength and weakness analysis of the arts sector. The publication shows current developments in the Flemish arts field in order to support the new cultural policy and the professional field in developing a future strategy for the visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, audiovisual arts, architecture, design and transdisciplinary arts.
In the journey towards the Landscape Sketch of the Arts, we try to involve the many different voices from the sector. In 2024, we enthused people in the arts to make their voices heard during fifteen roadshows across Flanders: in several cities, we informed local arts consultations about the trajectory and the possibility – and importance – of contributing input. We then organised more than 35 physical sessions, with no fewer than 1,400 participants.
