Working visit to Prague and Brno
Flanders Arts Institute invites a delegation of artists and art professionals from all disciplines (music, performing arts, visual arts) to discover the dynamic art scenes of Prague and Brno and have meetings with artists and art organisations.ic art scenes of Prague and Brno and have meetings with artists and art organisations.
Past ten years, the art scenes of Prague and Brno developed some interesting dynamics resulting in new multidisciplinary art spaces and festivals next to the established players in the arts field. This working visit introduces the participants to these important and upcoming organisations and artists. Each day will consist of one multidisciplinary visit and smaller activities for each discipline.
The delegation consist of a selection of artists, programmers, artistic leaders and managers:

Programme
Meetings with artists, visits to prominent institutions and organisations as well as emerging art spaces. Apart from the multidisciplinary activities we’ve arranged tailor-made programmes per discipline (music, performing arts, visual arts).
In Prague and Brno, visits are planned with Jazzfest, Central European Music Agency, Brno Philharmonic, Janáček Brno, DOX, Meet Factory, Archa, Ponec, La Fabrika, Jatka 78, 4+4 days festival, Tanec Praha, Malá inventura, Cirkopolis, Czech Dance Platform, Czech Philharmonic, FOK, Collegium Marianum, Dvorakova Praha, Prague Spring, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Contempuls, Ostrava Centre for New Music (NODO festival, Ostrava Days), Berg Orchestra, National Gallery, Centre for Contemporary Art, Rudolfi num Gallery, The Futura Centre for Contemporary Art, Jelení Gallery.
