Flanders Arts Institute @ Rencontres Artistiek: workshops and networking for artists
After a successful first edition in 2024, Rencontres Artistiek is back on 22 March at De Rinck Community Centre on Dapperheidsplein, for a day full of meetings, exchanges and workshops for artists. Flanders Arts Institute will also be present!
’ Rencontres Artistiek ‘ is the result of a collaboration between the Dutch-speaking cultural service of Anderlecht and Escale du Nord, with a programme for artists ( of all disciplines) who want to learn more about the challenges they face.
This year’s theme is ‘Finding your way’: How does copyright work? How do I get around as a professional artist? How do I promote my work? What support and subsidies can I count on? If you want to get started as a professional artist, the questions pile up and it is not always easy to find the answers. That is why there is Rencontres Artistiek!
The day is structured around a series of workshops led by several speakers active in the cultural sector in Brussels and beyond. In addition, several organisations will be present to give you information about possible support.
