Visitors Programme TRANSIT
Transit is the annual appointment for fans of contemporary classical music in Flanders. The festival is one of the two parts of the Festival of Flanders in Flemish Brabant and takes place in Leuven. The organizers present an exciting program of recent works and creations by Flemish and international composers, performed by Flemish and international ensembles. The festival is part of networks such as SoundsNow and Keychange. In addition to a host of festival concerts, Flanders Arts Institute is also organizing visits to Evil Penguin and B-Classic.
This visitors programme brings together international professionals within the contemporary classical music scene. Together, Transit and Flanders Arts Institute invite foreign programmers, organizers, composers and ensembles to get acquainted with the Flemish contemporary music scene.
