Belgium Booms showcases and working visit at MENT 2019

Representing the Flemish music industry at the festival and conference in Ljubljana
MENT Ljubljana is a three-day showcase festival of upcoming artists from all of Europe and beyond, during which around 60 acts perform at different venues in Ljubljana. The international conference focuses on the music industry and creativity. Flanders Arts Institute supports the selected Belgian acts with a Belgium Booms-campaign and brings along five music professionals for a working visit.
MENT focuses on the Eastern European scenes, though the festivals host acts from all over Europe. Kunstenpunt/Flanders Arts Institute is present to provide support under the flag of Belgium Booms, a collaboration between Flanders Arts Institute/Kunstenpunt, Wallonie-Bruxelles Musiques, Poppunt and with the support of SABAM for Culture.
This year the experimental group Slumberland got selected for a showcase. Next to our Belgium Booms-campaign, Flanders Arts Institute invited five Flemish music professionals on a working visit to partake in the showcases, conferences and networking moments.
