ASSITEJ 2025 – gathering of art for young audiences

23-29 Mar 2025
Festival Marseille

From 23 to 29 March 2025, Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France and Théâtre Massalia invite local and international art workers to an artistic gathering on the theme Bright Generations. For seven days, creations for young audiences will be highlighted in collaboration with the city of Marseille and local cultural organisations.

Besides some 20 international projects, there is also room for dialogue and reflection on the future of the arts for and with young people, and the involvement of the international performing arts sector.

On 28 March, Flanders Arts Institute and Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse will organise the network reception Small is More, with short presentations by the Belgian artistic delegation including theatre-maker Dalilla Hermans and Nina Plantefeve. Together they will be introduced to the largest global network of art for young audiences. This networking event is organised in cooperation with the representatives of Flanders and Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles in France.

ASSITEJ

ASSITEJ International was founded in 1965. The network of artists and organisations from more than 75 countries is committed to the belief that every child and young person deserves access to the arts, and performing arts in particular, from the earliest possible age.
