XR Competition
Do you have an immersive or innovative project that has been completed? Try to win one of our prizes awarded by an international jury during the 6th edition of NewImages Festival!
- For projects completed in 2022 or early 2023
- Presentation in situ and on our online platform
- Open to any narrative and immersive work (video games, digital creation, augmented or virtual reality, binaural sound, hybrid performance etc.)
- The call for projects for the XR Competition will be open from November, 2022 to January 10th, 2023!
- Submission fees: 48€ TTC
- Competing for: 4 prizes with endowments from €3,000 to €6,000
NewImages XR Market
Apply to the XR Development Market if you want to find a co-production or a way to finance your project.
- For projects in development
- 1-to-1 meetings with XR industry leaders
- promotion of the project to the NewImages Festival community
- The call for projects for the NewImages XR Market will be open from November 2022 to January 10th, 2023.
- Open to any artwork:
- immersive and original (film, game, performance, installation)
- in development
- no minimum funding required
- Pre-organized meetings with Decision Makers on site and online from April 5th to 7th, 2023
XR Art Fair
Apply to the XR Art Fair if you want to find distribution for your project.
- Open to any completed work
- 1-to-1 meetings with: curators and/or programmers from cultural institutions around the world
- November 2022 → January 10th, 2023 (midnight, GMT)
- Free registration
- Open to any artwork:
- exploring new kinds of storytelling through XR or immersive technologies
- completed and having been distributed at least once
- designed for physical distribution
- Pre-organized meetings with Decision Makers on site and online from April 5th to 7th, 2023
