At OWN Ateliers, located on Level 3 in Place du Grand Sablon 40, we offer over 350 m² of adaptable studio spaces in a historic building with stunning views of Brussels. Designed to foster collaboration and creative exchange, our studios provide an inspiring environment for artists across disciplines.
Studio Benefits
In our Atelier we offer spacious private and shared studios in a prime location in the heart of Sablon. Artists will gain visibility and networking opportunities through Objects With Narratives’ clientele, who visit throughout the week. The environment fosters collaboration, encouraging dialogue and cross-disciplinary exchange among artists, designers, and creatives.
The shared common area and kitchenette offer a fully equipped, welcoming space for relaxation.
Artists will also receive dedicated coordinator assistance, and the facility ensures a secure working environment with controlled access and surveillance. Regular studio visits and networking events will provide valuable connections with collectors, curators, and industry professionals.
For Who?
This atelier is open to artists from diverse fields such as photography, painting, drawing and illustration, textile and fiber arts, new media and digital arts, printmaking (using non-toxic processes), writing and research-based practices, as well as light assemblage and mixed media. If selected, a studio visit will be scheduled as part of the pre-selection process. Once selected, artists will gain access to their dedicated studio starting on June 1, 2025. A one-month rent security deposit is required, and the rent for the studio, which includes all charges, will range from 400 to 700 euros per month, depending on the studio assigned.

How to apply?
Applicants must submit a digital dossier in PDF format that adheres to the following guidelines:
Deadline: Submissions must be sent by 15/04/2025 to aleksandra@objectswithnarratives.com.
File Format: A4 PDF, maximum 15 pages, not exceeding 10 MB.
File Naming: LastName_Firstname_OWN25.
Required Documents
- First page: Applicant’s full name clearly visible and Studio Space they apply for.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Including contact details (date of birth, postal address, email, phone number) and any relevant links where multimedia works can be viewed (if necessary for understanding the artistic practice).
- Portfolio: Recent works with clear captions.
