Open Call for SIRENS
Sirens is a multidisciplinary performance that weaves together elements of dance, poetry/music, video installation(visual art) and theater to explore the themes of human nature such as desire, power, reflection, and so on.
Project details
Emmanuel Boakye is looking to work with six dancers, one actor/poet, and a singer/rapper on an upcoming Interdisciplinary performance called SIRENS in the period of 2025-2027. A knowledge of dance improvisation and choreography is a plus.
SIRENS will begin in the month of June and the deadline to apply for this project is on the 24th March 2025.
Sirens will have a four days audition workshop which will begin from 16th and end on the 19th May 2025 in Antwerpen, Belgium. Rehearsals will normally be 2 to 3 days per week. Open try-outs will be on 20th and 21st November 2025. Other mini try-outs will be in 2026. Performance dates will be in the late September 2026-2027.
