Inspiring and innovative project project proposals for 1:40,5 Gallery
What?
Artist Winnie Claessens and Fred&Ferry gallery are launching a call for inspiring and innovative project proposals for 1:40.5 Gallery. With this call we want to broaden the concept of the mini-gallery and give new artists the opportunity to work outside the traditional walls of the exhibition space.
1:40.5 Gallery is an exhibition space at the aforementioned scale and resides in the office space of Fred&Ferry Gallery. This gallery space is an exact copy of the parent gallery and offers artists the opportunity to exhibit their work to scale.
The exhibitions are open for the public during the expositions of Fred&Ferry gallery on the following dates:
24.10 -27.11 // 05.12 -22.01 // 13.02 – 12.03 // 03.04 – 07.05 // 19.05 – 02.07
What does Fred&Ferry Gallery offer?
- A solo exposition
- Technical support during the development of the exhibition.
- A collaboration with a professional gallery.
- The possibility for sale (the total installation will be offered for sale during the exhibition time / for the price and more info, the artist will be approached personally)
How to participate?
Send your artistic CV, a Bio (possible websites/link) and a short description (Max 400 words) What your plans are with the gallery and to what period your preference goes to, in 1 pdf file, to winnieclaessens@gmail.com with file name “OpenCall 1:40.5gallery’” (before the1 of October2021)
You will be notified trough mail, The latest on the 10 of October, if you belong to the 5 lucky participants! Be sure to take a look on the website with images of previous exhibitions on fredferry.com/winnie-claessens
