Take part with your ensemble at Warmste Nacht van het Talent

Festival van Vlaanderen, Mechelen

OPEN CALL: DE WARMSTE NACHT VAN HET TALENT 2024

A project of Festival of Flanders Mechelen

On Wednesday 11 December at 7pm, St Peter and Paul Church in Mechelen will open its doors to welcome musical talent for the second edition of The Warmest Night of Talent, a project of Festival of Flanders Mechelen. A maximum of four ensembles will be given a stage and the necessary support to tell their musical story.

This project is part of the context of Mechelen keeps you warm.

Candidates can mail their proposal by 1 November 2024 to mechelen@festival.be

Eligible are ensembles wishing to present an engaging musical project of maximum 30 minutes. As Lunalia, the spring festival of Festival of Flanders Mechelen, is essentially a festival of voices, preference is given to projects involving the human voice in a broad sense. This does not mean that purely instrumental projects cannot be submitted. Lunalia also presents timeless music with the power of the full moon. Projects should therefore not be limited to a classical arrangement or content, all possible concert formats are eligible.

The application should consist of a programme or concept and a technical sheet including all production supplies + related costs.
