About the Belpa’s
The Belgian Photo Awards shows the energy within the Belgian photographic landscape traditional craftsmanship intertwines with contemporary narratives. It brings together the entire Belgian Photography field and welcomes all aspects and genres of photography.The competition aims to recognize and promote exceptional photographers and their work, providing them with a platform to showcase their creativity and skill.
Photographers can participate in 11 different categories and win multiple prizes and recognitions, such as the best theme photo of 2025 (Urban Jungle), get a Belgian Excellence label and even be awarded First Photographer of Belgium by the government. As a surplus, they stand a chance of being selected for World Photographic Cup Team Belgium 2025. We also highlight emerging young photographers with the Young Talent Award.
You can enter until 10 September, after which an experienced, professional, national and international jury will judge the images. The winners by category and the finalists for Belgian Excellence will be announced on 23 October at an awards show at Creative Connect – the festival for Visual Storytellers.
