Dame de Pic / Cie Karine Ponties is looking for a performer for a 4-week creation and tour in autumn 2024.
Profile
Professional performers such as dancers, actors, physical theatre artists, mimes, circus artists, acrobats, … who work precise and have a good physicality, and who are also keen on the development of a dynamic and non-formal creating process, that will be deeply connected to the demands of the piece’s set design.
Particular competences
To feel comfortable with the development and exploration of a personal choreographic language. Ability to work in partnership with the other member of the creative team (listening, proactivity, artistic contribution). For the specific needs of the piece, high flexibility is strongly recommended.
Conditions
- Belgian resident who can be employed under Belgian social legislation;
- FR/EN/IT/ES speaker;
- To have familiarized oneself with the company’s work.

Before applying, please consider that
- you should be available for rehearsal from 7 to 18 October, 12 to 22 November 2024 and premiere in the last week of November;
- you should be available and open to start touring as from January 2025, for a minimum of 2 years, mostly in festivals in Europe.
Selected candidates will receive an invitation for an audition that will take place in Brussels on 1 & 2 July, 2024. The invitation will be send the week before the audition (24-28 June).
