Visual artworks searched for thematic group exhibition: ‘Aqua di sale’

What?

For a group exhibition with the theme Salt Water, art organisation ZISO is looking for 20 contemporary, visual artists. Mainly paintings or drawings, collages and photographs are welcome but space can also be foreseen for sculptures and cinematographic works. Works submitted should be inspired by the theme of salt water: The true cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea. – “Karen Blixen”

The works are selected by theme and cohesion by the members of ZISO, a start-up art collective, currently consisting of three artists.

Participation

• Registration is free and can be done until 20 August. We will inform in early September whether interested parties have been selected and then ask that the works are brought to Tervuren by 27 September. Detailled information will be sent to candidates.
• To the artists we ask a participation fee of 120 euro per work. This price includes participation in the exhibition which lasts two weekends, publication, drinks for the vernissage which will take place on 28.09.23 and ZISO art members will always be present during opening hours. We will, of course, do our best to sell works as well, for which we charge 20% on any sales.
