Artistic workspace needed? Take up residency in Merksem!
What?
Local Cultural Policy Merksem manages several houses where culture is central and organises all kinds of cultural activities in Merksem together with the district and partners such as Bib Park and youth centre Bouckenborgh. In doing so, we reach both local and supra-local audiences. Within our activities, we focus strongly on participation and look for ways to set up a strong artistic offer together with different groups.
For this, we are looking for artists interested in a residency in one of our houses: Schouwburg Noord, Merksemdok and Castle Bouckenborgh. The spaces we have available range from a 430-seat theatre to smaller rehearsal rooms and some studios for visual artists.
