Open call: MA-programme Lumbung Practice

What?
We would like to highlight the open call for the new temporary Sandberg MA programme Lumbung Practice. It will be developed and organised by Lara Khaldi and Gertrude Flentge (both members of the artistic team of documenta fifteen), in close collaboration with Gudskul and lumbung artists and collectives. Most of the lecturers will come from the lumbung ecosystem, which includes Casco Art Institute.
The master programme builds on the knowledge and experiments gained during lumbung-documenta fifteen.Participating collectives will practice and learn about the concept and practice of lumbung, self-organisation and sociopolitical artistic and curatorial practices, and produce alternative art institutions and economies for the future. Together, they will experiment with a commons-based art discourse and economy, connecting and complementing already existing lumbungs and working groups (inter-local, Indonesia, Kassel, and elsewhere).
The programme is open to artistic, curatorial and interdisciplinary collectives and applications can be entered by a minimum of two participants. The deadline is 1 April 2024.
