De Europese Commissie organiseert de tweede editie van het New European Bauhaus Festival in april 2024. Het festival krijgt steun van Creative Europe.
Het New European Bauhaus is een interdisciplinair initiatief dat mensen samenbrengt en oproept om samen een duurzame, inclusieve en esthetische toekomst op te bouwen. Het thema van het Festival in 2024 is ‘Resources for all’, waarbij verschillende onderwerpen elkaar kruisen zoals levensomstandigheden, land en water, mode en het menselijk welzijn in een veranderende klimaat.

Met behulp van de oproepen kunnen geïnteresseerde organisaties en individuen hun eigen ideeën voor activiteiten, projecten en satelliet activiteiten voor het programma van het festival indienen. Doe dit voor 15 september en wie weet is jouw project straks onderdeel van het programma van het festival.
De vier oproepen van het New European Bauhaus Festival 2024:

Meer informatie over het festival:
Het hoofdprogramma van het New European Bauhaus Festival vindt van 18-20 April 2024 plaats in Brussel. Let op: de randactiviteiten zijn verspreid over meerdere locaties in verschillende EU landen.
Het festival is opgebouwd uit vier pillaren:
- Forum: een platform voor discussie en het uitwisselen van ideeën over New European Bauhaus.
- Fair: een lab of expositie voor het uitlichten van projecten en prototypen die de kernwaarden van New European Bauhaus reflecteren
- Festiviteit: de viering van cultuur, kunst, vrijheid van expressie en het omarmen van innovatieve ideeën
- Randactiviteiten: activiteiten worden door de gehele EU georganiseerd, naast de hoofdprogrammering in Brussel

We offer you an online space, where your event can shine. This includes key information about your event, such as dates, location, names of organisers, agenda, and links to your event website and social media channels. You will also have the opportunity to be featured on our interactive map, gaining exposure and connection to a wider audience. Additionally, selected events may have the chance for live streaming or recorded sessions on our central platform, allowing for even greater reach and engagement.

Call for expressions of interest for Fest: cultural and artistic activities
The 2024 edition of the Festival is calling for artists like you to participate in this extraordinary hybrid event. With its core activities taking place in vibrant Brussels and captivating satellite events spanning across the European Union and beyond, this is an unparalleled opportunity to gain international exposure.
By joining us in person in Brussels, you will have the chance to be part of a citizen-focused cultural celebration, filled with art exhibitions, music, theater, dance, and more. You can propose participatory activities like workshops and competitions, or simply create convivial moments with citizens through musical performances and pop-up spaces. If you prefer a digital presence, no worries! You can submit pre-recorded material, reaching a broader audience and sharing your unique creativity.
To support the participation of artists, we will offer coverage for travel expenses. Additionally, a flat fee will be allocated to selected activities to contribute to the fair remuneration of artists. Join us in shaping the future of the New European Bauhaus by showcasing your talent, connecting with communities, and leaving a lasting impact. The exact amounts can only be decided once the Commission will have an overview of all applications.

Call for expressions of interest for Media Partners
You will be able to showcase your work to a diverse global audience passionate about art, culture, and innovation and collaborate with the festival organisers to create engaging content and coverage that highlights the festival’s unique atmosphere.
The Festival is also an opportunity to connect with fellow media professionals, artists, and industry leaders through networking events and opportunities and play a crucial role in promoting the festival and its participants, contributing to the overall success and visibility of the NEB Festival 2024.
